Earlier this year, Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis (brothers Bard and Vegard Ylvisaker) took both the Internet and an unwitting pop world by storm with their endearingly absurdist song, "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)," cheekily postulating an age-old question that's left kindergarteners scratching their little heads for years. Though originally penned as a complete goof, the single (and its suitably silly music video) took off with a vengeance, becoming arguably one of 2013's pop culture highlights.
Taking full advantage of their runaway success, Ylvis have pursued the next logical progression and turned their signature song into a children's picture book, richly illustrated in the same whimsical spirit that fueled the Ylvisaker brothers' first furry vision.
