The vampire sold to the geek. Or, rather, the actor who plays a vampire sold to another actor who plays a geek.

Robert Pattinson sold his former love nest to “The Big Bang Theory” star Jim Parsons for $6.375 million. In 2011, Pattinson paid $6.275 million for the secluded mansion, which was also once the former home of basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Pattinson was living in the Los Feliz home with Kristin Stewart until their relationship ended with allegations of infidelity. Both left the home — Stewart bought her own place, just down the road, and Pattinson decamped to friend Reese Witherspoon’s Ojai ranch (which she has since sold).

Now Pattinson is reportedly renting a home in Beverly Hills, leaving Parsons to move in to the 4,026-square-foot home.

Ellen and Portia Buy Storied Brody Home

After picking up a gorgeous home in Montecito just last spring, it was expected that real estate-obsessed Ellen DeGeneres would lie low for a bit.

Not so. DeGeneres and her wife, Portia De Rossi, just dropped $39,888,000 in an off-market deal for the Brody House, which has long been considered one of the best residences in L.A.

Designed for modern art collector Frances Brody and her husband, real estate developer Sidney Brody, the mid-century mansion was designed by architect A. Quincy Jones. It sold in 2010 to an unknown buyer who spent the next three years working with the Los Angeles Conservancy to update and restore the property.

Described as “an essay of modernist glamour,” the house sits on 2.3 acres in Holmby Hills with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, plus four more rooms for staff.

Oprah letting go of Chicago property

Oprah Winfrey spent almost 10 years putting together her custom condo in the Water Tower, buying several condos to create a 9,625-square-foot residence with four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half baths. However, she’s quick to let the property go — listing the entire residence in one fell swoop with a price tag of $7.75 million.

According to the listing, Winfrey’s master suite occupies one entire floor and is filled with “beautiful finishes and fabrics.” The duplex has two kitchens, multiple living rooms, and “storage galore.” The unit is so large, the homeowner’s association fee rings in at $9,000 a month. The pricey place is one of the most expensive currently on the market in Chicago — only a few other residences top the almost-$8 million price.

Although Winfrey started and made her career in the Windy City, it appears she’s moving into retirement, choosing to spend time at her homes in Montecito, Calif., and Hawaii.
