1. TODAY's Matt Lauer and Al Roker started everyone’s Monday morning off right with a quick nose rub. The anchors were inspired by Duchess Kate and Prince William, who received a Maori welcome — known as a "hongi" — during their official welcome ceremony in New Zealand.
Also, Prince George is enjoying his trip Down Under — and his cheeks are still wonderfully chubby.
2. Billy Crystal took the opportunity during his TODAY visit to remember Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney, who died Sunday at age 93.
"He was a tremendous talent, and someone at 5 foot tall that everybody looked up to," Crystal told the anchors.
3. An extremely excited and adorable dog broke the first Guinness World Record in our Spring Breakers TODAY series. Watch the Border Collie and Kelpie mix skip 128 times in one minute:
4. Actress Kirstie Alley told Matt she’s joining Jenny Craig to lose weight — again.
“I was like, you look OK on the street, but you don't look [OK] on TV, not so much,” Alley said, referring to her new sitcom, “Kirstie.”
