1. After TODAY producers surprised Tamron Hall by revealing her prom photo on Wednesday, we were inspired to collect #TODAYtbt prom photos from TODAY viewers — and anchors.

2. TIME magazine unveiled its 11th annual “Time 100 Most Influential People in the World” issue on Thursday, and major (and controversial) figures made the list.

3. Dr. Oz stopped by to give Matt Lauer the scoop on herbal medicine — an alternative that’s moving into the mainstream at one of the nation’s top hospitals.

4. The memory of 7-year-old Calder Sloan has lived on thanks to a self-portrait shared online with the nickname given to him by his father: "Mr. Awesome."

"We really believed Calder was going to change the world,'' Chris Sloan told TODAY. “These people we don't even know have just decided to share his love, so to me and my wife, he is changing the world."

5. Did you take your kid to work today for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day? TODAY staffers did, and the result was cuteness overload in the Orange Room.
