For parts of the country, summer's in the bag, as school kicked back into gear this week. It's a time of year we at TODAY Moms love because "back-to-school" is one of those memories that parents like to capture in a photo, year after year. The awesome "first day" outfits and haircuts, the supply-filled backpacks, the smiles that say, "Yay! I get to ride a school bus," or the frowns that say, "Boo! I have to do homework."
On our TODAY Moms Facebook page, reader Ketsy Alexander shared this photo of daughter Makayla Isabel Alexander, who is headed off to first grade with matching lunchbag and backpack and quite a stash of No. 2 pencils!
