Snoop and John Kerry bond and fist bump at the White House

Plenty of surprises come out of the White House, but they're usually political in nature. Not this time. In a video shared by Snoop (formerly Dogg, now Lion), the hip-hop star turned reggae man can be seen rubbing elbows and pounding fists with none other than Secretary of State John Kerry at the Executive digs.

Fo' shizzle.

It happened at a party held the day of the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. The two men, both dressed in tuxes and black ties, had a chat while a string performance of Billy Joel's "She's Always a Woman" obscured most of the talking points.

But who needs words when actions speak so much louder?

After a moment, Kerry put out a fist — the universally accepted gesture of anyone looking for a pound — and almost instantly, Snoop returned the gesture.

In the one clear line that could be heard in the clip, Kerry told a smiling Snoop, "You gave me a good pound!"

Indeed.

It was so good, Snoop had to share it with the world. As for the Secretary of Stizzle, er, State, he just had to hop on the official State Department Twitter account to respond with a line as entertaining as the video itself.
