Groom-to-be Dean Smith proved just how devoted he is to his partner, Jennifer, by planning an elaborate yearlong proposal before making the ultimate commitment.

Yes, Dean actually popped the question 365 days in a row, and he recorded each and every proposal. But the best part? Jennifer had no idea about any of it until there was just one more proposal to go.

The reveal came during a vacation in Aruba, when Dean had members of Jennifer's family present her with a birthday present — an iPad cued up to play a recording sure to bring her (and the rest of us) to tears.

"Jennifer, I love you more than anything in the world," Dean said in the clip. "I know that you’re the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, but I want the timing to be perfect and make this moment special. For the next year, I’ll show you how much I love you and that you’re in my thoughts every day. I want to marry you."

With that, the video rolled back to Jennifer's birthday the year before, where a slightly younger Dean held up a whiteboard asking, "Will you marry me?"

It was the first of many whiteboards to come, each with some variation on that theme. Sometimes, he even enlisted help.

Over the course of the clip, Dean not only proved his love for Jennifer, he proved his aptitude for chores, cooking, exercise and lip-synching — a lot of lip-synching.

How could Jennifer possibly say no? Well — spoiler alert — she didn't!
