Lamar Odom's condition hasn't improved as the former NBA star reportedly suffered brain damage and continues to fight for his life with friends by his side, two days after being found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel.
Employees at the Love Ranch called 911 in a panic on Tuesday, saying Odom, 35, was "close to not breathing," in a VIP suite and saying he had blood coming out of his nose and "white stuff" coming out of his mouth. Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof told NBC News that Odom was using a sex stimulant he referred to as "herbal Viagra."
Sources close to Odom told E! they have been told by medical personnel that Odom is on a ventilator, has suffered at least one stroke and has suffered brain damage, but is not brain dead. They also were told that multiple drugs were found in his system and that doctors are treating his condition as a drug overdose.
Doctors cannot assess any brain damage until he wakes up, and the Nye County sheriff has launched her own investigation, serving search warrants at the brothel and commissioning a toxicology report.

"During that call, the reporting parties informed the Nye County Sheriff's dispatch the male had been using cocaine,'' Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly told reporters in a news conference.
Estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant are among those who have been by his side at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas. Rev. Jesse Jackson also visited him to pray by his bedside.
While Kardashian has filed for divorce, the paperwork from the agreement has not been processed, according to Los Angeles court records. Odom was included on her reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians,'' and its spin-off, "Khloe and Lamar,'' before the couple split.
The hashtag #PrayersforLamar has been trending on social media for Odom, who played 14 seasons in the NBA and won two titles with the Lakers.
