Kid plays hooky, gets presidential excuse note

Minnesota fifth-grader Tyler Sullivan played hooky from school last Friday — but he had an excuse no one was likely to question. Tyler, who was attending a campaign speech from the president that his dad was introducing, got a hand-written note from Obama himself. No word on whether his teacher bought it.
