It's well known that the Duchess of Cambridge can’t hide her emotions at sporting events. But over the weekend, she demonstrated that even soggy weather and extreme winds can't dampen her enthusiasm when cheering for the home team.
The duchess and her her husband, Prince William, headed to Portsmouth, England, to take in the America’s Cup World Series. But officials had to call the race off on Sunday because of high winds.
Clearly, Duchess Kate couldn't believe the news, as she and her husband watched through a window as the boat for the all-British Land Rover BAR team got lifted out of the water.
Fortunately for the duchess, the team led by Sir Ben Ainslie still holds the overall lead in the series thanks to its previous performances.

The royal couple arrived at the event wearing matching customized BAR fleeces. And in case anyone couldn't pick them out in the crowd, each wore their titles on the back of their jackets.
In addition to meeting with the British sailing team, the royal couple also met with children who recently had their first sailing experience through the 1851 Trust, a non-profit of which the duchess is a patron.
The outing was Kate's first official royal trip since giving birth to Princess Charlotte in May. She had previously made her first public appearance after giving birth at the Queen's Birthday Parade and also stepped out for Charlotte's christening in June.
