Giada ended her cooking segment Thursday morning (did you check out that pasta? YUM!) with a birthday party — for her daughter, Jade, who is turning 4.
The lucky little lady (clad in Diane von Furstenberg for Gap) got a chocolate-frosted cake, a big bunch of balloons, and birthday wishes from Matt, Savannah and Natalie.
And that's not all: Turns out, this week has been a TODAY birthday-palooza! Dr. Nancy Snyderman's was Monday, and TODAY senior producer Marc Victor is celebrating his birthday Thursday, too.
If you're headed to a celebration of your own this week, take a tip from Matt and re-gift what you've already got! He admitted that he brought the cookbook Giada had given him (her newest, "Weeknights with Giada") to a dinner with friends and handed it over. The friends were thrilled, so everyone's a winner.
Except for Matt, that is. It's a really good cookbook. He should get his hands on a new copy!
