Four days after being admitted for a rare and severe form of morning sickness, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge left a London hospital Thursday.

A smiling but slightly wobbly-looking Duchess Kate emerged from King Edward VII hospital on her feet, carrying a bouquet of yellow roses with her husband, Prince William, by her side.

The couple then headed home to Kensington Palace “for a period of rest.”

“The Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment The Duchess has received,” Palace officials said in a statement.

Meanwhile, two Australian radio DJs apologized for a prank call they made to the hospital earlier in the week in which they impersonated Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. The hospital dispatcher quickly connected the pair to Middleton's private nurse, who revealed numerous details about her patient's condition.

"What was meant to be a simple prank call, with very terrible accents, with the expectation to be hung up on, has turned into something huge," said DJ Mel Greig, a woman, on the show. Her partner, Michael Christian, repeatedly exclaimed, "Wow."

Greig also tweeted out an apology: "We're very sorry if we caused any issues for Kate or the nurse."

Middleton checked herself into the hospital on Monday after suffering symptoms from hyperemesis gravidarum, a rare form of morning sickness that causes severe nausea and excessive vomiting. The hospital visit prompted the royal couple to announce they were expecting much earlier than they planned. It's believed Middleton is less than 12 weeks into her pregnancy.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Duchess was visited by her siblings, James and Pippa Middleton.
