The only shocker on Tuesday's "Dancing With the Stars" results show occurred when Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson, who were second from the bottom in terms of scores, were called safe first.
"Bachelor" star Sean Lowe pretty much knew his fate was sealed after the "General Hospital" hunk was voted through to next week’s semifinals.
“We were kind of prepared for it anyway because we had the lowest scores,” Lowe told TODAY.com. “But when they said Ingo was safe, I knew our time was up.”
Now that he no longer has to rehearse endless hours in the dance studio, what’s Lowe going to do with his time?
“That’s a good question,” he told reporters after the show. “I’m going to spend time with Catherine (Giudici, my fiancé) and play with my dogs. I enjoy taking them to my park.”
There’s also a wedding to plan. However, Lowe said no definite decisions have been made about when and where the ceremony will be.
There was buzz that the duo would be wed as early as this August.
“That all started when (‘DWTS’ host) Tom Bergeron made a bad joke (one night during the show),” said Lowe, who hastened to add, “which is rare for Tom. I don’t know when (the wedding) will be. Hopefully, we’ll figure that out soon.”
Lowe's pro partner, Peta Murgatroy, lauded his for his efforts, affirming, “He did good.”
Giudici also gave her support to Lowe.
“I talked to Catherine (after we were voted off),” said Lowe. “She said the same thing that she says to me every week: ‘I’m proud of you, and I love you.’”
Lowe and Murgatroyd will perform one last dance during the final results show on May 21, but it’s too early to say which routine they’ll reprise.
“It’ll be one of our best dances,” Murgatroyd assured.
“My favorites were the fun ones like the ‘YMAC’ number and the quickstep,” he said. “(Either of those) would be fun to do again.”
Other than that, Lowe said he’s hanging up his dancing shoes. He’s also not interested in acting, but he may have some professional TV gigs coming up either with or without ABC, the company that’s employed him on both "The Bachelor" and "Dancing."
“There may be an iron or two, but nothing I can really talk about yet,” Lowe said.
The ejected celeb dancer competitor shared with TODAY.com what his dream job is, however.
“I’d like to take Alex Trebek’s job as host of ‘Jeopardy!’” Lowe said. “Where do I send in my application?”
