A 4-year-old who fell from a 230-foot cliff woke from an induced coma on Wednesday — and his mom credits divine intervention for his survival.

Jamie Guglielmino told TODAY that she and her son Sebastion Johnson were walking along a path near an ocean-side cliff at Bodega Bay in northern California earlier this month when her son fell while playing.

Rescue crews rappelled down the cliff and were amazed to find that he was still alive.

"Like angels guided him down. He fell 23 stories and survived. He's the boy that lived," Guglielmino said.

Johnson was placed in a medically-induced coma after suffering serious injuries from the fall, with multiple broken bones and a broken jaw.

Johnson has a long way to go with his recovery, but he is currently listed in fair condition and is showing signs of improvement: He’s now able to hold hands with his family members.
