Brandi: Faye is Kyle's 'pit bull' on 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

The fallout from Brandi Glanville's (still censored) revelation about Adrienne and Paul Maloof last week on "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" continued into Monday night's episode, and things continued to get worse in the form of yet another dinner party from hell.

The drama went into high gear when during a dinner party at Kyle Richards' home, Faye Resnick seemingly out of nowhere insisted Brandi apologize to the Maloofs and accused her of "viciously" attacking people. All this despite the fact that she doesn't know the call-it-like-it-is Housewife.

But in her first blog post for Bravotv.com, Faye -- a close friend of the Maloofs -- explained why she brought up the very touchy subject.

"I thought it was important for Brandi to understand the severity of what she had said and offer her a solution on how to try to make amends," she wrote. "I don't know Brandi, but I expected that like any other normal human being, she would recognize that she had stepped over the line and would want to apologize at the very least. . .Boy was I wrong."

Brandi took the high road and calmly walked out of the gathering, but she's not letting Faye's behavior on the episode slide.

"Hind sight being 20/20 I should have stayed at home," she wrote in her blog post. "Kyle brought her pit bull-slash-puppet Faye 'Rancid' in to attack me about events and things she had nothing to do with and wasn’t even present for.

It was very obvious she was fighting someone else's fight for the simple need for attention, which has been very clear since 1994."

Kyle disagreed with that sentiment (which Lisa Vanderpump also shares). "I have never needed a mouthpiece. I have always been one to be honest," she wrote in her blog Tuesday. "I have NEVER needed anyone to speak on my behalf. Plus, Faye certainly has a mind of her own and would never be anyone's mouthpiece."

After the episode aired, quite a few members of the cast gave Brandi some support over the dinner-time drama, with Lisa, Yolanda Foster and Marisa Zanuck blogging about the situation.

"If I had known that Faye was going to be there, all clued in, on what was supposed to be a secret, I would have possibly refused the invitation and advised Brandi to do likewise," Lisa wrote. "I have memories of another dinner party where Faye was back up, mouthpiece, or whatever one would like to call her. It was an impossible situation. I knew Brandi had shown her regret but still felt indignant, and I agree with the fact that her feelings were valid too."

New "Housewife" Yolanda, who wasn't at the party, was baffled after watching the behavior at the table on TV. "Who is this Faye, and more importantly, why is she not minding her own business?" she asked in her blog. "I am not certain why she wanted to put herself into the line of fire with Brandi and Adrienne. This matter is so not her business."

Special guest Marisa kept a level head at dinner and waited to hear the story rather than jump on one side. Though she didn't let emotions take over, she let it be known in her blog that she was disturbed by the events. "I don’t recall Brandi asking Faye for advice; it seems they don’t even know each other," she noted in her post. "In fact, I don’t recall Brandi asking anyone for advice on the Adrienne matter. This is an issue between Adrienne and Brandi and should remain between them."

If you thought things were bad in this week's episode, wait until next week's, which picks up where the dinner party left off.

"My dinner party was awkward to say the least," Kyle said in her post. "Next week, even more so ..."

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
