Al Roker put out the call, and Vice President Joe Biden has answered!
Discussing Biden's recent breakfast with potential 2016 rival Hillary Clinton on TODAY Tuesday, Al giggled at the thought of a reality show called "Breakfast With Biden."
Then he had a brainstorm: Would the vice president come in and fill in for the 9 o'clock hour? "To have Joe Biden doing our TODAY's Take would be absolutely awesome," he said.
"Mr. Vice President, the door is always open...He loves me!" Al said.
That's a reference to the glorious moment when the veep actually stepped out of January's inaugural parade to shake Al's hand.
Well Vice President Biden (or, at least, someone who runs his Twitter account) has responded...and he did not say no! He even cracked a Hillary joke:
