With their brightly-colored uniforms, it’s hard to miss the estimated 25,000 volunteers inside Sochi's Olympic park. American Tamara Smith is one of them, and said she loves what she does.

Originally from Connecticut, Smith lives in Moscow and speaks five languages. She said volunteering in Sochi is a very special opportunity.
"In so many ways, it's a dream come true," she told TODAY's Natalie Morales and Lester Holt.
Smith assists athletes in all kinds of different ways, but took a break from her official duties to bring the American athletes a special surprise of helium balloons on Valentine's Day.
