Black Friday is over, but that doesn't mean that you've missed out on the deals. There's still Small-Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, not to mention a whole month of holiday deals.

"I think there's going to continue to be deals," Dana Telsey of Telsey Advisory Group told NBC's Craig Melvin on TODAY. "The whole holiday weekend, even Black Friday, it started over a month ago. Because retailers were prepared and trying to attract the consumer then."

Telsey shared a few tips for getting the best deals all through the holiday season:

1. Look for deals on popular items

Telsey said to check out popular gift items like watches, jewelry, handbags, outerwear and activewear, which are often discounted because of their appeal. "They're popular items that people want," Telsey said. "They're very giftable."

2. Look for the all-encompassing store

One store that Telsey recommended was Macy's because from kids clothing to fine accessories and even cookware, there are deals for everyone on your holiday list. "Overall what you're seeing at Macy's is across-the-board," she said. "It's a wide assortment."

3. But don't bet on lucking out more than last year

Telsey said that her advisory group's team of researchers have found that retailers have more or less stuck to the same price markdown percentages that we've become used to. "Essentially, we're seeing that the promotions are basically tracking what it was last year," Telsey said. "They manage the margins."

4. Look online

Besides Cyber Monday, more shopping in general is moving online. Which means more sales. "Amazon, eBay, Wal-Mart, that's where some of the best deals are," Telsey said.
