Well, almost. A fox who appears to be habituated to humans has been seen roaming the grounds of the mansion.

The Chateauesque-style home, which is a short walk from Lake Michigan, is being sold by court order to pay off the estate debts of its most recent owner, Crain’s Chicago Business reports.

Mayer, who ran his father’s meatpacking company, bought the house in 1927 and, after remodeling it, lived there until his death in 1965.

The 7,401-square-foot home has six bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and, according to the listing, “many fireplaces that may be only decorative or gas burning.”
