Does your child have an amazing idea?

TODAY is working with our sponsor Shell to find creative minds of the future. We're looking for the next Albert Einstein or Marie Curie — kids ages 18 or younger who have invented something terrific.

He or she could win a trip for two to NYC and the chance to show it off on TODAY.

Nominate the innovative kid by filling out the form below. Submit a photo and short statement on what he or she is doing in science, technology, engineering or math to make the world a better place. Keep the essay short and sweet, please — less than 500 words.

You can also enter on Facebook by following this link and leaving a comment on the post, or on Twitter with the hashtag #makethefuturecontest.

The entry period ends March 24 at 2 p.m. ET.

If you have any questions regarding the disclosure of your child’s invention and any patent or other applicable laws, please be sure to consult your lawyer. NBC and TODAY make no warranties with respect to the protection of your child’s intellectual property.
