Khloe Kardashian was able to dump her home rather quickly, selling it to “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco. In other celebrity home sales and buys, John Mayer sold his New York bachelor pad and Jay-Z’s former apartment is for sale.
Khloe Kardashian sells home to Kaley Cuoco
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have yet to finalize their divorce, but they’ve quickly finalized the sale of their home. This week the reality star and her estranged basketball player husband sold their Tarzana home to “Big Bang Theory” actress Kaley Cuoco. According to reports, the offer was for $5.49 million, which was the list price for the home. The property was listed for sale on Jan.10.
It’s not a surprise that the home sold quickly. The L.A. housing market is hot with limited inventory and steep home prices. Kardashian also did a complete overhaul of the Mediterranean-style home, remodeling every inch of the 8,400-square-foot house — down to the fixtures. Kardashian and Odom bought the home back in December 2009 for $3.9 million.

John Mayer sells NY pad
In 2013, recovering from reconstructive throat surgery and some uunflattering interviews, John Mayer retreated to Montana, picking up a place in Paradise Valley — far away from paparazzi and ex-girlfriends.
With a new lease on his voice and in the dating game — he’s currently seeing pop princess Katy Perry — it looks like Mayer is ready to return to civilization. He sealed his comeback with the recent sale of his Manhattan bachelor pad. He sold the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at 255 Lafayette St., New York, NY 10012 for $3.9 million.
With the sale of the New York condo out of the way, Mayer is free to spend more time on the West Coast where Perry lives. She bought a new mid-century modern compound in L.A. last year, following her divorce from Russell Brand and the sale of the home Perry bought with Brand.

Jay-Z’s former Brooklyn apartment for sale
Jay-Z is currently living an “Empire State of Mind” in a fancy Tribeca duplex, but years ago he was not living as large in a smaller, Brooklyn apartment, which just hit the market for $870,000.
Jay-Z even calls out his former place in his New York anthem, singing, “Right there up on Broadway, pull me back to that McDonald's, Took it to my stashbox, 560 State St.”
The 1,000-square-foot place recently received a full remodel, likely changing it drastically from Jay-Z’s old days there.
