Cut! Bruce Willis willing to take less for Idaho estate
With a new baby on the way and a new film shooting in Alabama, it’s no wonder Bruce Willis has slashed the list price of the Idaho getaway from another lifetime.
The twinkly eyed, semi-tough guy with a long string of TV and movie blockbusters on his stellar Hollywood resume appears way too busy to worry about whether the 20-acre estate in Hailey brings back top dollar.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom, 8,400-square-foot home is now listed for $8.8 million, having just taken a $1.2 million price reduction March 30.
Willis has been trying since 2011 to sell the property, which was first listed for $15 million. Janine Bear of Sun Valley Sotheby’s International holds the listing, which has now seen four major price reductions.
The lakefront mansion has a living room with vaulted ceilings and a large stone fireplace, plus multiple fireplaces in the bedrooms, a 2,200-square-foot master suite and bath, log posts and beams and a chef’s kitchen.

In the meantime, Willis is not exactly sitting by the phone waiting for an offer. In late March, Willis was in Alabama filming a new sci-fi thriller, “Vice.” More recently, Willis was back in Los Angeles with his wife, Emma Heming, who is expecting their second child.
