Infomercials can be convincing — but how do the products stack up? The editors at Woman's Day magazine reviewed some of the most popular beauty products sold on television to help you decide if they are worth your time and money. Now take a look at the products they liked best:

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Full Coverage CC Cream

This color-correcting cream is more than a foundation — it contains an anti-aging serum, broad-spectrum SPF 50+, peptides, and vitamins A, B, C and E. It claims not to crease or crack throughout the day and comes in five shades ($38, qvc.com).

What the reviewers said:

The editors were pleased with how this cream covered pimples, discolorations and redness to make skin look flawless. It also stayed put all day and blends well with various skin tones.

"I was really happy it hid the bags under my eyes without leaving makeup creases, because the consistency is thick and creamy. And I love that it has SPF!" — Lauren Spencer

"It spackled over pimples, discolorations and the redness around my nose to make my skin look flawless — and it stayed put all day. I'll keep using it." — Stephanie Dolgoff

Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford 5-piece Advanced System, 30-day kit

Crawford and French dermatologist Jean-Louis Sebagh, MD, created this line, which uses an antioxidant from a rare melon found in the south of France. Includes a cleanser, SPF 20 day cream, eye cream, creme de serum and neck treatment, plus two mini bonus products ($39.95, meaningfulbeauty.com).

What the reviewers said:

Reviewers found that it made their skin look and feel smoother, and they were thrilled the product included fool-proof instructions.

"I had dry patches of skin around my eyes that nothing seemed to help, but after using the eye cream for only a few days, the patches were completely gone." — Diane Oatis

"I'm hooked! The line made my skin look and feel so smooth. When I accidentally used my old cream one day, my skin immediately felt tight and dry." — Stephanie Kim

YBF (Your Best Friend) By Stacey Schieffelin Cheek Duos

YBF Beauty's My Perfect Size Collection has two cheek compacts: one with a bronzer and neutralizing powder, the other with two cheek colors. You can use the products separately or swirl them together with the included small brush.

In this case, the promise of a 2-in-1 highlighter caught our attention, and it promised to be a time-saving product that takes the guesswork out of how to contour your cheekbones using makeup ($19.80, hsn.com).

What the reviewers said:

The duo definitely makes contouring easy and the matte finish looks great on all skin types. However, this product didn't get a 3 because of a lack of storage; the brush works well, but there's no place to store it after use.

"The bronzer kept my skin looking radiant. I wasn't a fan of the mini-brush, though. It felt cheap and made the powders look streaky." — Stephanie Kim

"I watched the video on hsn.comto learn how to apply these colors. It was helpful, but for everyday use, the duos just seem like a lot of work." — Diane Oatis

WEN Hair Care by Chaz Dean Basic 30-Day Supply Kit in Sweet Almond Mint

This line is formulated without harsh surfactants, so it won't strip your color and should hydrate your hair. The set includes a 5-in-1 cleansing conditioner, an anti-frizz styling creme and two smaller-size bonus products: the SIXThirteen cleansing treatment and treatment mist ($29.95, New.WenHaircare.com).

Why did we try it? We're all looking for hair care products without harsh chemicals that soften and improve hair.

What the reviewers said:

This gentle cleanser takes some getting used to, because it doesn't lather, but the result is healthy, smooth hair. The kit also includes all the products you could need, including a cleanser, conditioner, styling cream, hydrating spray mist and more.

"I'm a WEN convert, but it took a little getting used to: The cleanser doesn't lather, so you have to really massage it in." — Lauren Spencer

"The products were so gentle and soothing on my hair and scalp, I even used them on my 2-year-old daughter." — Roni Martin
