Passengers deplaning from flight QF93 on Sunday were sure to be high on love.

In the middle of the flight from Sydney, Australia, to Santiago, Chile, Captain Dooley Ellis made what could possibly be the most important announcement of his 30-year career as a Qantas Airways pilot.

"We also have a very special passenger on board today," Ellis announced over the loudspeaker. "Her name is Anna."

He went on to explain that she was traveling to South America to visit her family and he wants to make sure she comes back home to him in Australia.

Little did Anna know that she'd be returning home with a new piece of jewelry to show off and a man who vows to be there for her for the rest of her life.

"So now that I have your complete attention — Anna: ¿Quieres casarte conmigo? Will you marry me?"

He then came out of the cockpit to see Anna, who appeared to be surprised and emotional while sitting back in the cabin.

With flowers and a ring in hand, he got down on one knee, placed the ring on her finger and popped the question again, this time in person.

As passengers cheered, Anna responded "yes, yes" and then embraced Ellis for the first time as his fiancee.

Qantas Airways shared a video of the sweet proposal, and confirmed details of the event with TODAY. The video has been viewed more than 715,000 times since it was posted on Monday.

Here's to many more years of flying high for the couple!
