It’s a girl ... and a boy, and another boy, and twins!
TODAY's weeklong #BornTODAY series kicked off Monday with a bang (and a few cries). With correspondents fanned out across the country, TODAY featured live births at a number of bustling hospitals. It all began in Texas as little baby Haley came into the world.
NBC's Janet Shamlian — camped out at Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston — had a busy morning. With 15 other women in labor at the same time, it wasn't long before Shamlian got to tweet her welcomes to more newborn babies.

We've got twins!
Dr. Nancy Snyderman, based at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia for #BornTODAY, helped welcome a baby just before Monday's broadcast, and TODAY producer Jen Long tweeted a photo.
Meanwhile, TODAY's Erica Hill was standing by at Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital with another happy couple. Their daughter was born as Cher was singing "Women's World" live on TODAY. Coincidence?
And in case you missed any of the action, here's a montage of all the births on TODAY.
