How far would you go to get your child the "It Toy" for the holidays?
The hot toy this season is a sweet-looking rag doll called Mittens Fluff ‘N’ Stuff. The blue-haired doll normally retails for about $25, but has been selling out all over and is fetching twice the price on some web sites (desperate parents, it’s available on Amazon for $45 as of this writing).
Mittens is one of eight dolls in the “Sew magical – Sew cute” Lalaloopsy line, each with their own back story. But only Mittens is inspiring this level of shopping hysteria (even a Toys ‘R’ Us employee had one snatched out of her hands).
Some moms credited Mittens’ popularity to her medium-tone skin, appealing to a more diverse audience of little girls.
