According to new psychiatric research from the University of Iowa, infants who are fussy when they’re three to four weeks old are more likely to develop childhood mental health problems later in life.  For more on this study’s findings, click here.

The researchers noted that the results of their study are based on mothers’ evaluations of their children’s behavior, which may have played a large role in the findings.  Parents, what are your impressions of the findings of this study? Were your children excessively fussy as newborns? If so, have you seen a correlation with any problems they’ve grappled with as older children? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
