Meet Harper Estelle Wolfeld Gosk!

The brand-new baby, welcomed into the world by TODAY anchor and correspondent Jenna Wolfe and NBC News foreign correspondent Stephanie Gosk this week, made her weekend TODAY debut on Saturday morning — well actually, she slept through it.

"It's amazing, because she didn't sleep all last night," a sleepy-eyed Stephanie laughed.

"We slept zero," Jenna confirmed.

But their sleep deprivation hasn't affected how starry-eyed they are over their new bundle. "What's amazing is that someone can cry all night, and you wake up in the morning, and you still really like them," Stephanie wondered aloud.

Friday marked the first night at home for the whole family, and by Saturday morning they looked like old pros, lounging comfortably with their new little one.

"It was almost like a religious experience," Jenna said of baby Harper's arrival. "You carry this little person around with you that you have yet to meet for nine months, and then all of a sudden the stars just align and it's you and this little angel and this person that you love. You go from being two people finding their way to a family instantaneously, and it's one of the most wonderful feelings in the world."

As for the baby's name, Jenna thinks the moniker will go great with a future in sports.

"Stephanie played field hockey in college. If she follows in Stephanie's footsteps, Harper's a great field hockey name," Jenna said.

"But you know what? She'll probably end up being a ballerina," said Stephanie.

TODAY anchor Erica Hill thinks the name is perfect for whatever extracurricular activities the baby ends up pursuing: As she put it, Harper "works for ballerinas too."
