There are currently more than 100,000 children in foster care in this country, dreaming of adoptive homes. But on Thursday, 12 children became parts of families forever when their adoptions were finalized live on TODAY. This special event was a part of the week-long "Choosing Adoption" series.
After Judge Walsh Hood declared all 12 children legally members of their respective new families, each child rang a bell 12 times (some with help from their new parents) in celebration of the milestone moment.
