According to a new survey, there are going to be some disappointed pregnant moms out there this Sunday.

Nearly 60 percent of first-time pregnant women expect to receive a gift on Mother's Day, but the same percentage of first-time expectant dads are "clueless," according to a survey of 400 expectant first-time moms and dads by marketing firm Eric Mower + Associates. Half of dads-to-be said they didn't think their partner expected a gift, and 11 percent responded "I have no idea."

Moms-to-be in the survey said they'd love a card, flowers or a spa treatment, but really it's just about being acknowledged. Nearly half, 45 percent, said "nothing specific, it's the thought that counts."

On our Facebook page, TODAY Moms readers could see both sides of the issue.

Mom of three Stacy Ruskuski wrote, "Since I am now a mother, I do not think pregnant mothers should get to celebrate this day yet as their own. You need to wait to actually become a mother to fully appreciate the day. Until that time, celebrate your own mother and let the excitement of the following year build for you!"

But for many, motherhood begins at conception. Kristin Miller says expectant moms should definitely get a gift: "You are a mom when you are pregnant, You are doing ALL the work at that point. The physical strain in itself deserves something."

What do you think? Do pregnant women deserve a Mother's Day gift? Would you be hurt if you didn't get one? Vote in our survey and let us know what you think on Facebook.
