The Powerball lottery jackpot is up over $500 million, and everybody is fantasizing about what they'd do with that kind of scratch... even Kathie Lee and Hoda. The ladies made plans for that unlikely bounty during Wednesday's chat. Shockingly, they would not spend the whole thing on wine and gold-plated Spanx. In fact, they were mostly philanthropic.
Kathie Lee said she'd build a special theater endowed with lots of cash so that people who couldn't afford pricy Broadway tickets could experience it. "It'd be like St. Jude's Hospital," she said. "If you can't afford it, you can come."
Hoda said she'd buy houses for her family. "Somewhere exactly where they wanted it," she said. "We all love the beach."
She also said that she'd travel more, but added that she wasn't really a "stuff" person. Right! Tell us that after you have half a billion bucks in the bank, Hoda.
