If you're a Kathie Lee and Hoda fan, you already know that morning is the best time of day to have a glass of wine. But did you know it's also the best time to reach your goals?

According to time management expert Laura Vanderkam, the a.m. hours are best for getting your life in perfect shape. Her new book, "What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast," suggests that there's time enough to get buff, meditate, do work, hang out with your family, boost your mood and more… if you just get up early enough.

The book, based on research that suggests that willpower is strongest first thing in the day, argues that you're more likely to accomplish something right when you roll out of bed. The only hitch? As Vanderkam told USA Today, you have to be wiling to go to bed early, too, which "is not that easy for many people."

Well, no -- that's when all the other good TV is on.

Would you rather be a paragon of productivity, or just have extra hour of sleep?
