The season-two finale of "Chicago Fire" is sure to pack plenty of action, but the same can't be said for answers. According to star Taylor Kinney, mysteries will remain long after the season is over.

"It's a big cliffhanger," the actor told TODAY's Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb Tuesday. "I think for any fan of the show for season two (who) has watched and followed along with these characters ... there's a lot of stones unturned for the finale. ... It'll be something to talk about all summer."

While the fates of some of the firefighters and paramedics may remain up in the air on the show, Kinney's enjoying his rock-solid real-life roles — TV star, film star and, of course, leading man to Lady Gaga. For a small-town guy from Lancaster, Pa., it's all thrilling.

"It's still exciting," he said. "You still have those, you know, the pinch-me moments. ... I love what I do."

And he loves what his famous girlfriend does too — just don't ask him to name which of her songs he loves the most.

"I don't have (a favorite) one," he said. "It's more ... I support her. I dig what she does."

The season finale of "Chicago Fire" airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. on NBC.
