Sound the Spanx alarm! Kathie Lee and Hoda opened the show Thursday morning with a very special choreographed dance routine. Their version of the summer ear-worm "Call Me Maybe" dance involved being totally upside down with their feet in the air like waterless synchronized swimmers.
Natalie, Al and Savannah attempted the dance (such as it is) on the plaza, too, made famous by viral videos of the Harvard baseball and Southern Methodist University crew teams, who also created parody videos of the Carly Rae Jepsen tune — and came to TODAY to perform them live.
It's a not-terribly-complicated routine of criss-crossing limbs, but let's face it: KLG and Hoda completely won this one.
