Should men bleach and wax 'down below'?

Sep. 27, 2012 at 1:14 PM ET

Fresh and de-fuzzed from a laser hair-removal treatment, Hoda brought back some hot gossip from her technician to the chat Thursday morning. Apparently men are getting their downstairs parts denuded too.

"Men who are athletes don't want… chafing," explained Hoda, but some of them are just "men whose girlfriends want it." Uh, really?

KLG, for her part, was shocked at the amount of grooming everybody is doing these days, from hair removal and worse: bleaching cream for "that same area."

"How did people actually lust after each other for centuries and centuries and centuries, before there was any waxing, before there were any creams … there was just what God gave you," she said.

Hoda agreed. "I don't get it."
