The fourth hour's own Sara Haines made an appearance on the local news in her hometown of Newton, Iowa.

Sara told NBC affiliate WHO about her work on TODAY, and how she turned a job as a web-video-blogging NBC page into a career as Kathie Lee and Hoda's Internet gal Friday. The station played some greatest hits of Sara's adventures on the show, including visits back to Iowa to de-tassle corn and sing the praises of Maytag blue cheese.

"There's nothing better than going home, and home will always be Iowa," said Sara of being on the news. "It's thrilling to be able to come back here and tell some home-grown stories. And I must say: Watching the piece on WHO gave me nervous butterflies, because that's what I watched growing up. That's my NBC!"

Congrats, Sara. Way to make your hometown proud. You can watch the clip here.
