'Puppygate' is over: Dog dropped by KLG finds a home

Remember the poor little puppy that KLG dropped? (If you don't, you can check it out here, but be warned: it's a cringer.) The puppy was visiting from the North Shore animal shelter when he slipped from her grip. Apparently, she said, in an attempt to escape from Hoda. "I'm a wreck," an anguished Kathie Lee said the next morning.

Well good news: There's a happy ending to what Hoda has nicknamed "Puppygate."

The ladies announced with relief Wednesday that particular puppy has been adopted. The North Shore Animal League was happy to report that he's found a home.

"I'm so glad," she said, adding,  "And it's far, far, far away from me."
