Thanks for your entries! This amazing woman won a trip to NYC

June 24, 2014 at 11:30 AM ET

Mary Beth Schewitz is the "gentle yet powerful" woman who won the chance to fly to NYC to appear live on TODAY's fourth hour with Kathie Lee and Hoda and receive a year's supply of Cetaphil products.

Learn about her touching story and why she was honored:

Video: After Mary Beth Schewitz’s 20-year-old son died from sudden cardiac arrest, she decided to start the Max Schewitz Foundation, which provides electrocardiograms for Chicago-area students. Although, she lost a son, she said that she has gained new children. Because she is authentic, advocates fiercely and gives back with empathy, honesty and kindness, Cetaphil and KLG and Hoda honored Mary Beth in their “Gentle Yet Powerful Contest.” (Cetaphil is a sponsor of TODAY.)

TODAY and our sponsor Cetaphil hosted a contest to honor a "gentle yet powerful" woman.
