Along with leading lady Carolee Carmello, who joked that she'd been there since 5 a.m., the anchors' support brought Kathie Lee to tears.

"We asked for tickets to 'The Lion King,' and they gave us these," joked Matt.

KLG, a little farklempt, thanked fans for turning out in such big numbers. "This means the world to me," she sniffed, as Al pretended to scalp his tickets.

"We love you Kathie Lee," said Savannah, adding, "Free drinks on Matt!

The show opens in New York on November 15, for the rest of you buying tickets from the comfort of your homes.
