Let 'em fly! Hoda and Meredith have a fruitcake-flinging competition

Sick of getting fruitcakes at Christmas, a park superintendent in Nebraska began an annual tradition of aggressively throwing them for fun. The citizens of the town get together and have a toss-off to get out their collective rage.

Meredith agreed that fruitcakes are "disgusting," so she and Hoda decided to have a flinging contest of their own. Of course, they opted to use Jerry and Yosef as moving confectionery targets. Things got… very crumby.

There was even a bit of concern that the fruitcakes might actually be injurious. "Do you have helmets?" asked Hoda, before letting them fly. But soon she was shouting, "I like this game! I'm getting out a lot of aggression!"

Who won? It was hard to say, but when Bobbie congratulated Hoda on her athleticism afterwards, Meredith cried foul.

"I hit it more than Hoda!" said Meredith.

"She kinda did," Hoda admitted.

Such sportsmanship! Maybe this is the new, 2013 Hoda.
