In honor of the London Olympics, Madelyn Fernstrom came by for a classic Kathie Lee and Hoda food fight. British cuisine has a reputation for being bland, but today's smackdown definitely was not.

The ladies donned fascinator headgear for the occasion and fielded questions about tea, scones, shepherd's pie and fry-ups. Alas, Hoda got utterly cream-crackered by KLG's superior crumpet knowledge (who knew Kathie Lee was such an expert on pub snacks?). KLG won a trophy bottle of Pimm's, while Hoda had to content herself with a conciliatory jar of lemon curd.

"I hate this game," said Hoda, frowning in a magenta hat. Hopefully the Olympians are more sportsmanlike than she usually manages to be.
