We all know Kathie Lee and Hoda love to chat, but it turns out they also really value their quiet time — at the gym, at least.

The ladies got on the topic of cellphone etiquette at the gym after a Massachusetts woman made news this week for having her membership revoked when she took a call inside her fitness facility.

The woman, who claimed she was talking to her doctor, apparently had a history of violating the gym's rules on cellphone use and was banned from the premises.

"It's very annoying when you are in the gym and you hear someone and they start talking," Hoda said, defending the gym's policy.

"This is chronic behavior," said Kathie Lee. "I say, tase her!"

Hoda recounted a recent episode when a fellow exerciser annoyed her, even though she couldn't hear his conversation, because his arms were "flailing" around as he talked. "I had my headphones on, blasting music, almost blowing out my own eardrums. I couldn't hear him on the phone," she said. "Still, it kind of bugged me. And I don't really know why."

"I just don't think people realize how silly they look, when the other part of the conversation is not being heard. Especially when they get heated about it," said KLG, before launching into some scary faces as she pantomimed a one-sided shouting match.

Hoda hypothesized that one reason why cell phones might be banned at the gym is to prevent creeps from taking inappropriate photos. "People have their cameras and they're taking pictures of people in the gyms," she said.

"Why are they doing that?" Kathie Lee asked innocently.

"Because they want to post porn!" said Hoda. "People naked in the gym. I think that's one of the reasons. Is it?" she asked, looking around for confirmation.

KLG was shocked. "Are people naked on the treadmills?" she asked, clearly wondering if she's been going to the wrong gym all these years.

But no, Hoda was talking about shady people trying to snap secret pics in the locker room.

"People would do that, wouldn't they," sighed Kathie Lee, shaking her head.

Creepers aside, do you think people should be allowed to be on the phone at the gym? Was it fair for the gym to revoke the woman's membership over her cell phone use? Weigh in!
