Maybe it's the absence of Kathie Lee or the Southern manners of guest host Lee Brice, but Hoda — who is notoriously hyper-competitive during game show segments — was a bizarrely good sport this morning.
When Women's Health features editor Sascha Gersdorff tested their knowledge of allergies with a little Myth vs. Fact game, Lee vowed to keep his eye on Hoda. "I hear she's a cheater," he said.
Turns out their allergies smarts were more or less equal (although neither of them knew that honey does not cure them), but Hoda was actually winning by a point when she suggested they declare it a tie. What? Who is this generous impostor?
Things got even weirder when they both missed the "tie breaker" question and Hoda let Lee walk away with the winner's prize, a gift basket of allergy meds. Speaking of drowsiness and disorientation! Hoda, you feeling okay?
