To celebrate Election Day, Rockefeller Center got a patriotic makeover and was transformed into Democracy Plaza, where visitors could skate on a map of the United States, play in a replica of the Oval Office, or have their own political caricatures sketched for posterity.
Kathie Lee and Hoda sent Sara Haines to check out the festivities and she commissioned a drawing of the ladies toasting democracy with a little wine. Cute, right? Well, let's just say Hoda is not a huge fan of editorial illustration.
"I look like a drag queen," Hoda lamented on TODAY Tuesday.
Sara admitted that the artist had gotten one or two details wrong (KLG drinks white wine, for one thing). Hoda concluded that she would not be keeping the drawing to remember this historic day.
"Do I really look like that?" she asked.
"Only in a stiff wind," said KLG sympathetically.
