Hoda's been wanting a dog for so long now, it's hard to believe her dream is finally coming true. But she confirmed the news this morning: She's getting a furry new roommate in March!
A few weeks back, Hoda felt a love connection with Buffy, a North Shore Animal Shelter puppy. Alas, the pup had already been selected for adoption.
But it was for the best: since Hoda's about to go on a book tour, she wouldn't have been around very much to take care of a dog. So she's holding off for a month before committing to bringing one home.
Ever the voice of reason, KLG reminded Hoda that pets are a big responsibility, not just "a pair of jeans" that you put away whenever you feel like it.
"I have a dog walker already," sighed Hoda.
She's counting down the days until she meets her new best friend. (Sorry, Kathie Lee.)
