You’d think it was Winesday Wednesday around Studio 1A Monday.
As a final peace offering to settle the tiff between Kathie Lee and Hoda and Chelsea Handler, the Fourth Hour ladies' much-publicized no-show guest sent them a case of chardonnay.
“Hoda and Kathie Lee – I’m so sorry. Please forgive me, it won’t happen again. Love, Chelsea,” read the note that KLG shared aloud on a set filled with bottles of white wine.
Kathie Lee and Hoda had already accepted Chelsea's apology Thursday, after listening to Handler say she was sorry the night before on "Chelsea Lately."
So it’s all in the past now, and everyone involved is glad to let it go.
Everyone, that is, except gossip columnist Perez Hilton, who expressed great disappointment that “the drunken lady talk show host feud is (probably) over!"
"BOO!” he wrote in his column last week. "The ladies have decided to do the classy thing and play nice. Yeah, we’re bummed too."
But Hoda reassured Hilton on-air that another battle may be just around the corner.
"We’ll start another one with someone soon," she promised.
