Has Hoda's search for the perfect puppy ended? On Wednesday, during a segment with the "dog whisperer" Cesar Millan, it seemed that Hoda had met her ideal match with Buffy, the shaggy little dog from the North Shore Animal League.
Looking like two peas in a pod, fans were thrilled at the possibility of Hoda adopting Buffy and couldn't wait to find out if it had actually happened.
During this morning's chat, the fate of Buffy and Hoda was revealed.
"The dog got adopted before I could get it," she said sadly.
KLG couldn't believe it: "How fast! You were saying that day, I think this is my dog."
Hearts broke when Hoda said those nine words. But no worries, we'll get to see them reunited on the show.
"We're going to try and bring the family in who adopted the dog," Hoda said.
