Perhaps it was inevitable: there is now a "Fifty Shades of Grey" workout. Is this the perfect exercise for Hoda, our resident E.L. James super fan?
Pilates instructor Korin Nolan is cashing in on the popularity of the erotic fiction series to tout her Fifty Shades workout, a combination of strength exercises designed to build flexibility, self-confidence, and, um, stamina.
Hoda's a fan of the book, but would she be a fan of the workout? It sounds pretty intense.
Korin told KLGandHoda.com: "The 'Fifty Shades' phenomenon seems to have made us all take a good look at our sex lives. Not only are people investing in silver balls and cable ties, they're also investing in their bodies too."
The actual workout she offers at Bootcamp Pilates focuses on "building overall strength, stamina and flexibility," which aims to get clients into a bedroom place, both mentall and physically. "Not only do we look and feel more physically attractive," says Korin, "but we're also more likely to be able to live out our 'Red Room' fantasies too."
Well, exercise and sadomasochism have a lot in common, so this sort of makes sense.
Alas, her services are only available in London, and so, for now, is the workout. Maybe Hoda can try it while she's over there for the Olympics?
