Fourth hour guest-anchor Willie Geist subbed in for KLG Thursday morning, and proved that he's highly knowledgeable about what the kids are listening to. Or what his daughter is listening to, at least.
Hoda had some One Direction figurines lined up at the desk, and Willie was able to recognize every single one of them.
"Could you name each one of these individuals by their doll?" Hoda challenged.
And remarkably, he could, going right down the line. "This is my daughter's favorite, that's Zane," he said. "That's Liam, kind of your 'lead singer' guy. That's Niall, he's the Irish guy. That's Harry. And this is Louie, who doesn't get a lot of attention, but I believe deserves more for his role in 1D."
Willie pointed out that at $29.95, these dolls are "a great deal." So, uh, consider them as a gift option for the young kid or 37-year-old anchor in your life.
