The holidays are almost here, but Amy Schumer didn't feel like waiting a few more days before giving her father the perfect gift. And she didn't even wrap it!
That's because the comedian didn't get him a tie or a cozy sweater. She bought dad a farm — the same one her family lost when she was just a little girl.
On Monday, Schumer shared a FaceTime still that captured her father's sweet reaction and her own big smile about being able to offer him such a special present.

When Schumer was just 9 years old, her father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and the family went bankrupt, forcing them to leave the farm she loved as a child.
Well, the farm she sometimes loved.
The "Trainwreck" star also shared a childhood video that showed her attempting to leave that patch of land behind.
"Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me," she wrote in the caption that accompanied the clip on Instagram. "We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him."

This isn't the first time the 35-year-old has given Gordon Schumer a great gift. Earlier this year, she arranged for him to have a FaceTime chat with "the love of his life," actress Goldie Hawn.
